Of course just one of these flags (like 1 or 4) does not make anyone immediately an abuser but every flag can be used as a manipulation tactic.

These apply to all types of relationships not just romantic ones.

This is incredibly important and I hope anybody that is in a situation that resembles these signs is aware that although they may love the person, the relationship isn’t healthy. Even though that is an incredibly difficult idea to come into terms with, it is vital. And know that no matter what we will all stand by you.
